Steps: Preheat oven 350F-spray cookie sheets. Melt chocolate in microwave- High power 2-3 minutes, stirring every minute until shiny. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt: set aside. In large bowl with mixer at low, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Beat in corn syrup and eggs. At low speed, blend flour mixture, then chocolate and vanilla. Stir in chocolate chips (and walnuts). Drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls, about 3" apart, onto cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes, just until set. DON'T OVER BAKE. Let cookies stand on sheets for 2 minutes. *If you want a more cake0like texture, increase flour to 2 1/4 cups. **If you wnat actual brownies, spread dough in a 13"x9" pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or just until set.
