His major role in the juniors is to compete in events, set examples to other juniors and to help new and more experienced juniors. He is doing an excellent job and we have had many new juniors join this year, all of whom have had some coaching tips from Paul Stancliffe.
Our Junior Captain's change on 5 December 2006, and our new Junior Captain will be Jez Howarth. Jez also plays golf on a regular basis at Headingly Golf Club.
We are confident that Chris and Jez will do an excellent job in their new roles. However, we would like to make a special mention, that Luke Whinterhalder has done an outstanding job as Captain this year. He has made a 150% commitment to the junior section.
