Evening will be coordinated by Oonagh Williams, Award Winning Chef/Instructor This event was a huge success last summer for another women's business group. It is fun, good food, good friends, relaxing. The artistic endeavors of the teams were quite amazing. I've never seen some vegetables used in quite such a decorative fashion. If you are vegetarian, let me know so that the chicken, beef can be left in a separate dish. Method As people arrive they will be placed in a team of 4. One team will be responsible for preparing the cold fruit soup appetizer (includes wine and brandy) and dessert of real chocolate, cream and liqueur fondue with angel cake and fruit. Other teams will prepare the various salads that we will all eat for Dinner. Salad One - Greek Pasta Salad - cooked orzo pasta will be provided together with lemon yogurt and herb salad dressing ingredients, and various fresh vegetables, feta cheese and deli roast chicken to be prepared and assembled for service. Salad Two - Cous Cous salad with chopped fresh vegetables, apricots, raisins and nuts in a herb olive oil dressing, to be prepared and assembled for service. Salad Three - Mexican Salad of mixed salad with chick peas, avocado, shredded cheese in a mild sweet spicy vinaigrette with cubes of deli roast beef, to be prepared and assembled for service. Salad Four - Chinese Coleslaw of shredded cabbage, baked noodles, nuts and a sweet spicy peanut dressing to be prepared and assembled for service. More salads will be added based on numbers registering for the evening. Each team will only receive the recipe they are preparing to avoid confusion. All the recipes will be provided after the event. Each team is responsible for cleaning up their area during the preparation of the food and also clearing up afterwards. Bring an apron to protect your clothes if you want. Each team will choose a leader who will be responsible for allocating tasks within the group. Judging Teams will be judged on The Five C's:
