*Conclusion*

*Back to main page*

To conclude everthing that was included in this website, I would like to state the things that I learned in the process of creating this website.

The first thing that surprised me in the making of this cookbook was the fact that there are so many revolutions out there. There must have been one for every country, even if they weren't major ones!

Second, I learned that no two revolutions are the same. Well, you might be sitting there saying, well duh, but it's absolutely true -- each revolution is immensely dissimilar from the next. However, many revolutions are made up in the same structure. This I found out as I filled out the outline that Ms. Clark provided us with. Most of the time I could fill out every blank. But the thing is, each blank was filled out differently.

The last thing that I wanted to add was that I was surprised to find out how long it takes to complete a revolution and how much change is involved in the process. Out of all the revolutions that I did, the French Revolution had the most steps by far. They went from one monarchy to no monarchy and then to another one. It took them quite a while and many steps to complete all of this, too. On the other hand, the Civil Rights Movement underwent no change of government. No kings were murdered, no monarchies were abolished -- it was simply a change in views and in laws. And what really surprised me was how short the Egyptian Revolution of 1952 was! It only took a few years for them to squirm out of the reigns of Britain and their monarchy and into the reigns of a new president.

To sum it all up, I suppose I re-learned something I've always known -- the fact that no two things are the same. These countries chose to take different paths and ended up in all different places. However, I also learned that they all had something in common, something very important. The people behind the causes of these revolutions each wanted the same things. These ideas have been known to man since the beginning of time and will never be fully existant until death reigns. These things are the greatest things knowns to man...

Liberty. Equality. Freedom.
