MAIN COURSES-
Ingredients- hamburger buns, spaghetti sauce, and shredded cheese. (all can be purchased at your local Sav-A-Lot food center for a very small price) Directions- Split and place the selected amount of hamburger buns on a conventional oven pan. Carefully spread your spaghetti sauce over the open end of the bun. Finally, it's time to sprinkle the shredded cheese over the sauce to create a pizza-like creation! Preheat oven to 300 degrees and cook for approximately 8 minutes or until cheese melts appropriately. TIPS- You can create French Bread Pizza using hot dog buns! Also, if your heart desires, you may add peperoni, ham, or other pizza items to you hamburger/hot dog bun pizzas! HOT TIP- Try actual pizza sauce with your hamburger/hotdog bun pizzas!

Ingredients- noodles of some sort, spaghetti sauce, frozen chicken patties, and shredded cheese. (all can be purchased at your local Sav-A-Lot food center for a very small price) Directions- In order for this dish to properly come together, you must be able to multi-task, thus, it's a very difficult creation. Boil noodles until soft, while simultaneously preparing the chicken and spaghetti sauce (do you realize the difficulty now?). As previously stated, a frozen, breaded chicken pattie should be placed into a standard microwave for approximately 2 minutes or until warm. Also, if desired, spaghetti sauce may be heated. The order of placement should follow this sequence: noodles on plate, then chicken pattie, sauce simmering over the chicken pattie, and finally sprinkled cheese. TIPS- The Pasta Pro Pot is 100% reccommended for this recipe. For possible side dishes, check out Lucas' "Sides and Such" portion of this site. Sissy's Garlic Break is recommended for this dish.

MACARONI AND BEEF COUSINE:
Ingredients- One can of Macaroni and Beef cousine (can be purchased at your local Sav-A-Lot food center for approximately 59 cents). Directions- Using your personal can opener, remove lid from Macaroni and Beef cousine. Place contents into a microwavable dish and heat for approximately 2 minutes or beef nuggets sizzle. TIPS- Please be careful not to overheat this dish. If the macaroni and beef becomes too hot, you may not be able to eat it for an extended period of time.
|
Ingredients- bread, butter, garlic salt (all items can be purchased at your local Sav-A-Lot food center for a very small price). Directions- Carefully spread a light layer of butter on both sides of the sliced bread. Sprinkle desired amount of garlic salt on both sides of previously buttered bread. Place directly on oven rack at a temperature of 225 degrees. The actual cooking process can be somewhat difficult, so when the bottom becomes toasty, simply turn over. Remove when desired crispiness is accomplished, but please be careful, that oven rack is hot! TIPS- This side dish goes great with Lucas' Chicken Parmesan! COST- Approximately 4 cents per piece.

Ingredients- 2 lbs. green beans, 1-2 cups of water, 2 chicken or beef boullian cubes, 3 large, crushed garlic cloves, 2 tbs. olive oil (all can be purchased at your local Sav-A-Lot food center for a very small price) Directions- If there's one thing I try to do in the kitchen, it would be fully cleaning my ready-to-cook product. This dish is definitely no exception. Cut ends and clean green beans. Add all ingredients into a pan, place on a stove and cook for 15-20 minutes or until beans are tender. TIPS- Still not sure if those beans are ready to be served? Check the water level; has it been reduced to half its original level? If so, your Belle Arbor Green Beans are ready! HOT TIPS- Check my Create-A-Meal section on page 2 for a green beans and frozen pizza combination! When creating this combination, replace the intended canned green beans with Belle Arbor Green Beans!
