Basic Cabbage Soup (WW)
5 medium carrots (20 baby), cut into 1" slices
3 medium celery stalks, sliced
3 large onions chopped
1 large clove garlic (4 T. minced)
1/2 medium cauliflower, cut into bite-size pieces
12 oz. cut green beans
3 medium zucchini cut into 1" slices (2 C.)
2 (5 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
1/2 C. parsley
3 lb. chopped cabbage
6 C. water (more may be added if soup is too thick)
2 cans fat free chicken broth
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
2 chicken flavored bouillon cubes
1 T. fennel seed
1 T. Italian seasoning
1 T. brown sugar
Put all ingredients into pan and cook till veggies are done. This soup freezes very well. The only items that have WW points are the carrots and brown sugar. I used 1/2 point for 2 cups.
