| What the heck is "Ya-Ya"? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The Ya-Ya chronicle was told by Big D in the fall of 2000. The chronicle was set in an alternate reality WoD, where clans were a bit different and no one was really sure what a Malkavian was capable of doing. The Camarilla, Sabbat, and Malkavians were all contesting control of Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, Michigan. This area is about 40 miles west of Detroit on I-94, and home to the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), and Eastern Michigan University (Ypsilanti). Locals refer to the area as "Ya-Ya", rather than saying "Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti" everytime they make reference to where they live. Coincidentally, Big D got his degree from EMU, and lived there for several years. Big D is also the author of all of these cards, as it was his intention to host a "Ya-Ya" Jyhad game, though this never came to be. Still, I enthusiastically constructed the cards, and thought I might share them. Artwork for the cards, much like my own, has been pilfered from anywhere we felt like it and is used without permission. Also, I've left out cards for characters who had no special abilities, and could be replaced by an official V:TES card for all intents and purposes. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
