Fred thinks that education is the most important issue facing America today. His education plan would help every child in America. His plan would call for increased funding for schools and a raise in teachers salaries. The money would be accounted for not just thrown in to an account. If a school began to fail then all teachers in the school would have to take classes in their subjects at a local college. If the school was still failing after 3 years a major change would take place and new department heads would be brought in. This system would stay in place until schools improved. Republican and Democrats have had their chance to save schools. Why not give someone else a chance? So you are asking yourself where is all this money going to come from? The question is actually simple and is answered in the next issue.
Cut Waste-
There is no telling how much money our government BLOWS AWAY every year. An independent source should audit the government and find out how much money can be cut from the budget. The money from education will come from the fat and waste of the government.
Term Limits-
Career politicans have made it very hard for citizens to have a voice in government. Fred proposes 6 year limits on terms in Congress and a 12 year limit for Senators. Why should the President be the only person in Washington with term limits?
Health Care-
Every American should have health care coverage for this to be the land of the free. Fred will outline a plan in the next few weeks.
