Pizza Dough
Ingredients
3 cups of flour
1/4 oz. quick rise yeast
2 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
1 cup of warm water (115 F-130 F)
2 tbsp and 1 tsp of olive oil
Directions
1. Put 1/2 cup of the flour aside. 2. Take a large mixing bowl and stir together the remaining dry ingredients with a wooden spoon until well blended.
3. Check the temperature of the water with an instant thermometer. 4. Add the water and 2 tbsp. of the olive oil to the dry ingredients.
5. Stir the ingredients until the dough starts to pull together. 6. Coat your working surface with the remaining 1/2 cup of flour.
7. Flour your hands, bring the dough together and knead the dough until it is not sticking. 8. Clean out the original bowl and coat the inside surface with the remaining olive oil.
9. put the dough in the bowl and cover it with a dish towel to rise for 45 minutes. 10. Put your oven rack in the lowest spot possible.
10. Preheat your oven to 425 F. 11. Cover two baking sheets with alluminum foil.
12. Lightly cover your work surface with the remaining flour.
