FIRST CALLED TO

Jesus Whispered your Name
As we think of your small frail body that once was so full of life, we  strive to understand how it is that now it is still. There are a hundred  reasons that spill out our hearts for God to have left you with us. When all is said and done all we know for sure is that
Jesus Whispered your name.

He Whispered your name and His angles came to usher you into Heaven. Things will never be the same. This is no game,  this is no dream to wake.  from. You are with Him. We don't understand but
Jesus Whispered your name

As Our Lord took your hand and
Whispered your name we can almost see the joy and wonder in your eyes as you look at the Glory of Heaven.  and as I stand and ponder why you are not here I would not have you miss one moment of being in The Arms that now hold you, even  though our arms ache. Ours are empty only for a season, this is the  reason we can go on.

As you start to sing, we see through the tears of today that the  reason Jesus Whispered your name is that Heaven would not be the  perfect place it is with out the singing of children. It makes the  space in our hearts a little fuller to know that you are adding your voice to that of the angles. And we know heaven is a little sweeter today because
Jesus Whispered your name.

The laughter that comes from your small heart as you run to Jesus, allows us to see  that
Jesus Whispered you name because Heaven needs the laughter of childern to make it heaven. This truth allows us the hope to someday laugh with you, and makes the sting of the tears  not quite so hot.

Oh, the joy of a child is freash and reviving, Heaven needs the joy of a child, that is why
Jesus Whispered your name. We know that no longer will time and this world be able to rob you of that joy. Even  as we sob, we thank God for this insight.

Heaven also needs the faith of children, this kind of trust is what will  lead us Home to you. The blind faith of a child is the key to seeing  Jesus. We know that
Jesus Whispered your name so we too could trust not only you into His Arms but ourselves also. It is this kind of faith we lean on today.

We know that God needed you more than we did, and that is why He
Whispered your name. That, dear little one will have to get us  through this hour of sorrow and darkness, until He, too, Whispers our name.
