Controlled Burn Price List

It is understood the cost/risk of farming or ranching is higher than other businesses.  It should also be understood the cost/risk of performing controlled burn operations is also high.  We want to make it aware our equipment and personnel are important to us because they deliver a high quality product.  With this said we can not take all of the customers risk away from our operations.

Preplans will done by a CBC represenative prior to any operation going on.  This is a comprehensive plan used to brief CBC crew members on the day of the operation.
Preplans are no longer free. The following are the rates for a CBC Agent to come out and do a preplan.

A completed preplan doesn't guarantee a burn operation will be carried out.

We also provide consultation services for people with rescources to perform a burn but would like a third party opinion or mininal assistance.  For assistance pricing see the per acre cost.  For consultation, the cost is the same as a preplan.

Preplan/Consultation Cost     $50.00    Plus $.60 a mile to and from Riley Office
.

We have comprised the following rates for controlled burn operations on a per acre basis.  All of the prices below do not include the cost of the fuel used during the operation/s.  This will added at the end of the bill.  If more than one customer is taken care of in the same day, we will add up all acreage, find the percent of total acreage for each customer and divide total fuel costs for the day accordingly.

01 - 15 Acres    $25.00 / acre   $25.00 - $375.00 plus fuel

16 - 25 Acres   $20.00 / acre   $320.00 - $500.00 plus fuel

26 - 50 Acres  $12.50 / acre    $325.00 - $625.00 plus fuel

51 - 100 Acres $6.50 / acre    $331.50 - $650.00 plus fuel

101 150 Acres $4.25 / acre   $429.25 637.50 plus fuel

151 - 300 Acres $3.00 / acre    $453.00 - $900.00 plus fuel

301 - 500 Acres $2.50 / acre    $752.50 - $1250.00 plus fuel

501 Acres and more will be negotiated with the customer.

Billing will be figured on a per burn site basis unless multiple sites are adjoining.  If this is the case, acreage will be added together for the best rate.  If multiple sites are adjoining and are owned by different customers, the price will be divided the same was with the fuel cost.
