CONTRAST
Submission Guidelines
1. Contrast accepts works from all members of the WMC community - students, faculty and staff. The magazine does not discriminate based on content - we promote diversity of themes and styles, and do not reject work based on its connection to any ethnic, national, or other minority group.

2. We accept all submissions of poetry, short stories, art and photography. Art may be submitted in any format, in any size, as we have the equipment to photograph and publish it regardless.  Photos are also acceptable in any format or size, though bear in mind that the magazine is printed, with rare exceptions, in black and white only. Short stories should be no longer than ten double-spaced pages. Excerpts of longer works may also be printed. The magazine no longer accepts essays or other works of non-fiction.

3. When submitting work, DO NOT put your name or contact information on the work itself, as we will only have to remove it later. Submissions are reviewed anonymously - only the Editor knows what is whose. Please put all relevant contact info on a submission slip.

4. Submission slips can be found in the magazine's box at the Information Desk or on our bulletin board at the English Department in the 2nd Floor of Hill Hall. You can also find a printable submission slip
here.

5. To turn in a submission, please either place it in our box at the Info Desk, or send it through campus mail to Box 738. You may also hand in submissions to Bobby Anderson in the English Office, though the first two methods are preferable.

6. All submissions are reviewed by the staff in our Spring Review meetings, and all works receive feedback, which is delivered through mail to the writer or artist within a week after the work is reviewed.
