At the heart of the horse country is the Bramblebury Track land, with over 3,500 acres dedicated to steeplechasing and flat racing of some of the most brilliant sporthorses this country has to offer. While originally a breeder of flat track Thoroughbreds, McKenna Olivio has engaged herself in the dangerous, live-wire sport of Steeplechasing, becoming the first Chaser facility at Silver Creek. Combining some of the fastest Thoroughbred bloodlines around with some of the most agile and intelligent lighter breeds, McKenna has successfully begun a breeding and training regime devoted to her Chasers. Here, it's not about one specific breed -- it's about talent, durability, and intelligence.

About Steeplechasing: Jumping races are held at major race tracks over brush and hurdle fences. Individual fox hunts sponsor hunt race meetings over brush, hurdles, and timber fences, as well as point-to-point races over timber fences only. Series of timber fences duplicate solid post-and-rails encountered in the hunting field, while brush fences duplicate hedges. Races are also run over a smaller variety of brush fences known as hurdles. While hurdles (once used to contain flocks of sheep) are made of brush, some courses contain water obstacles called "Liverpools" which have a water ditch on the take-off side. Some races are open to amateur riders. They and their professional counterparts can be slightly larger than flat racing jockeys since the minimum weight they must carry is 35 pounds. Few riders haven't suffered broken bones in a sport where falls are par for the course. Between a flat racing and forward-seat saddle in size and weight, the steeplechase saddle provides support over and between fences. Even if you're a great flat jockey; you may be a terrible Chaser jockey. It's just the way it works! Training for all positions in any and all things to do with steeplechasing is available. Take advantage of it!
