Tail: Two strands of red wool yarn and two strands of white wool yarn about 1/2" long
Body : Desrcibed from back to front
- Yellow chenille ruff at tail
- One third of hook, white floss ribbed with gold tinsel
- Yellow chenille ruff
- Rest of body white chenille with one red and one white saddle hackle wound over the chenille
Wing: Calf tail or bucktail: one small bunch of white, topped with red, topped with white. There should be a definite red stripe in the wing.
Throat: A few fibers of red calftail tied under the head
Eyes: Small bead chain or plastic beads
Head: Black tying thread
Hook: #1-#2, 4XL
