Tail: Two strands of red wool yarn and two strands of white wool yarn about 1/2" long
Body : Desrcibed from back to front
  1. Yellow chenille ruff at tail
  2. One third of hook, white floss ribbed with gold tinsel
  3. Yellow chenille ruff
  4. Rest of body white chenille with one red and one white saddle hackle wound over the chenille
Wing: Calf tail or bucktail: one small bunch of white, topped with red, topped with white. There should be a definite red stripe in the wing.
Throat: A few fibers of red calftail tied under the head
Eyes: Small bead chain or plastic beads
Head: Black tying thread
Hook: #1-#2, 4XL
