Melanie Stephens was born in Geelong, Victoria, and grew up in Perth WA, Where she began to perform at 9 years of age.
She practiced and competed in Acrobatics, and began dancing at 10 years old discovering a new world of artistic expression.
She trained and worked closely with two professional dancing schools. She studied dance for nine years.
At the age of 18 melanie travelled to Cyprus, and spent nine months dancing and performing in a cabaret resteraunt. Travel has allowed Melanie to aquire many unique skills, some of the fantastic skills include;
Contortion, Singing, Teaching, Acrobatic, Fire (Breathing &Twirling)
She was working with Jasmine George (Aus Contortionist) with dance and contortion shows throughout Australia.
Melanie performed contortion for Venus Del Rios' Show with "The Spanish Dancing Horses" with her contortion and dance partner Jasmine, and also with Venus for the Gold Coast multicultural Council for Harmony day
Melanie appeared in 2 newspaper articles with The Bulletin, and The Courier Mail with Contortionist Jasmine George.
Melanie and Jasmine were interviewed and filmed performing their contortion and dance piece for "The Great South East" travel and tourism show.
After Jasmine left for a circus in Mexico, Melanie decided to return to her Cabaret show in Cyprus, Melanie is now based in Queensland and available for contracts
