As much as we loved Sunset Beach, on reflection we are afraid to admit that not all the storylines were up to scratch, although we were hard pushed to find the requisit ten.
Thankfully the writers realised none of the cast needed Niagara and that storyline has never ARISEN again!
2. Shock Wave
Never has there been a more underrealised story, the Richards family stuck in 2 halves of a nursery does not a story make (conversly the tidal wave makes it to no.2 on the best list).
3. Sean's rapping
Do we need to explain why?
4. Antonio and Gabi
Will they / won't they i don't care and frankly i don't believe he would ever want her anyway.
5. Diane the mad mortician
it was clear from the outset that Diane was several cards short of a deck as she was addicted to romance novels she thought Ben was her Steed, we didn't and were glad when the men in white coats took her away.
6. Sarah's affair with a Congressman
Sometimes soaps just go to far, like this would ever happen in real life!
7. Francesca murder mystery
Not exactly a surprise when Gregory was revealed as the killer and the storyline didn't seem to manage to conjour up as much excitement as who shot Phil Mitchell.
8. Martin's Syndrome
We learnt from Grotbags that sticking rice crispies on our skin was not funny it was just plain scary.
9. Cole's missing hair
What was that all about? we know it wasn't Gregory 'cause pathetic revenge isn't his style. we assume it had something to do with AJ and leo, but don't really care.
10. Amy becoming a nun
It's hard to imagine that this girl has ever even seen The Sound of Music let alone memorised all the words to Climb Every Mountain, however it isn't hard to imagine whys she wanted to be a nun as what girl wouldn't pass up the opportunity to spend all day with father Antonio.
