These days Pauline has continued to work as a Voice-Over Artist and Continuity Announcer.
Not so much these days � after all, he�s a big star now. The man interviewed Cliff Richard, and everything!! You can�t expect him to keep up with us lowly people from the old days. I always remember him saying to me �P, when I�m famous� don�t hang around me, don�t cramp my style, and for God�s sake, don�t keep harking on about Sunny B all the time�. I have to respect that. Once he met Sarah Buxton he was never quite the same�
Who was your Favourite Character and why?
Duh! Ben of course! I mean, he was TGO, wasn�t he!
What was your Favourite Storyline and why?
Sarah and the senator was a nice touch, shagging Sean *twice* was fabulously awful and Smurf�s baybeeeeeeeeeeeeee � OMG, the memories are flooding back. I�m not sure this is good. I may have to go back to my therapist again�
Did you believe Ben was the killer on Terror Island?
When will you people learn?! Ben good Derek bad. Of course it wasn�t Ben. He was lovely, he was TGO, he was too yummy to do anything so heinous. Nurse? My pills!
Were you happy with the way the show ended?
I loved the ending � it was superly Spelling. I do recall the odd tear in John�s eyes, mind�
Were you surprised by the success of the show first time round?
Surprised? Flabbergasted, more like! Mind you, to be fair, it was the best damned crap there ever was. The pauses, the flashbacks, the evil twin� blimey, that sums up my life NOW, come to think of it�
What was the most shocking thing that you were sent?
Sarah Buxton gave me a leather jacket with Bold & The Beautiful on it! OK, so that wasn�t shocking, nor was it sent, but it was so cool, I just thought I�d mench. Um, there was a viewer who offered to mow my lawn on a Sunday if I was free�
Did you enjoy the road shows?
I only visited one. It was wild. We had to sign autographs! Hahahahahahahaha! What a blast.
What�s your favourite memory of that time?
The Favourite Character� competition. I had no idea how brilliant the people watching were until then. Those letters were a scream and they came in every day in huge bags. It blew me away, to be honest.
Of the cast members that you met which was your favorite?
Oh pur-lease, like you have to ask that!
Are you surprised that 8 years on people are still obsessed with sb and are contacting you?
I think you�re all as wonderfully barking as you ever were! My kids think I�m famous now!
