| On Saturday, March 23rd GRACE (Gila River Alliance for a Clean Environment) members and supporters participated in a protest against Romic Environmental Technologies Southwest which has been operating in their community for decades without proper permits and in violation. People of all ages came together to support the presence of the Romic facility. At this time, Romic is interested in obtaining a signature from the Gila River Indian Community to obtain their required permit. Tribal leaders will be making their decision soon. |
