This big guy is called a Tarpon. Tarpon arent as common on the Texas coast as they are in Florida, but every now and then you can get a big one.
This one measured 6'8" in length, and we guessed it to weigh about 200lbs. Me and two of my buddies took turns (15 minutes each) to bring him in :).
You need a Tarpon permit($100) to keep tarpon in Texas, so we let him go.
