MY REAGAN PAGE
As I've said before, I do like to hear myself talk, but that's only a part of the reason for this page.  On this page I will be giving my views, opinions, or "2 sense" on the issues of the day.
Ain't I pretty?
WARNING: WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO READ IS EXTREMELY OPINIONATED.
My basic beliefs:
1. God created the universe.
2. Jesus was crucified for our salvation.
3. America is awesome.
4. Liberalism is evil.
5. I don't have to tolerate if I don't believe it's right.
6. Abortion is
murder.
7. Everyone was created equally; regardless of race, skin color, ethnicity, or handicap.
8. Just as you shouldn't be persecuted because of your background, you also don't deserve anything extra.
9. If you want something, work for it.
10. Man will be held responsible for his actions, regardless of what the world may think about it.
I believe that America was founded in a large part on Biblical ideals and values.  To take God out of the government is disastrous.  Most Americans have the wrong ideas about seperation of Church and State.  First of all, that saying "Seperation of Church and State" never appeared in the Constitution.  Let me know if you find it anywhere. Our forefathers simply intended for this country to not be ruled by the Church.  They wanted freedom to practice Christianity however they wanted.  Thank God for that.  We now live in an America where citizens practice a multitude of religions.  What has happened with the U.S. is that the most important thing has become not offending anyone.  We are so afraid that someone of a different religion or belief will be offended by something we say or do.  The government wants to take prayer out of school.  No faculty led prayer time.  I say nonsense.  Schools should be able to give students a short time before class to pray to whichever God they worship.  If they don't believe in God they can sleep for all I care.  There are people who say that they don't want all sorts of false gods to be brought into the classroom.  Well, you know what?  Let them pray to whatever false god they want.  Their gods have NO power.  The only God with power is the God of the bible.  If parents are strongly rooting their children in the ways of the bible, then everthing should be O.K.  Schools teach evolution to children, and the origin of the universe.  Teachers aren't even allowed to present opposing views on Darwin's theory, such as Creationism.  So basically, children are taught what some scientists believe and that that is the absolute truth.  They learn one thing from the bible and another at school.  It is very important in these days that a parent knows what is being taught in the classroom.  This way a parent can talk about it with their children and share with them the truth.

We live in a society that says the only thing that is intolerated is intolerance itself.  We must be accepting of every kind of lifestyle.  When did the great U.S. begin this state of decline?  I believe sometime after WWII.
I think a lot of it happened in the sixties.  Why am I not allowed as a U.S. citizen to let someone know that I don't believe that their lifestyle or beliefs are right?  I don't base my beliefs on public opinion of the day like so many others.  I base my beliefs on the B I B L E.  The inspired, inerent word of God.  The only true God by the way.  Am I doing the right thing by letting people do whatever they want and not letting them know about Jesus?  I don't think so.  Let me get another  thing straight here.  Hating the sin is not the same as hating the sinner.  I don't hate you because you might do something that I don't think is right.  We all are sinners.  Jesus teaches us to hate sin, but love the sinner and do everything you can to help them.  Someday we all will stand before the judgement seat.  The only difference will be whether you had Jesus or not.

The government is slowly but surely taking control of us.  With things like gun control and the anti smoking campaigns the government creeps their way into your everyday life.  The U.S. government was intended for a means if only the state couldn't take care of the issue.  The problem is that our government now makes laws based on public opinion of the day.  All you have to do is pressure them a little and BAM!!, you have a law to support whatever cause you want.  It happened with hate crimes legislation.  Instead of the country basing laws on things good for the nation by sound judgement, they are based on things that activists have pressured them in to.  It is incredible to me that an organization is attacked for weeding out individuals who don't fit their moral character description.  Believe this:  if I own a small Christian run business and an employee begins to do things that don't fit the Christian lifestyle, that person will be gone.  I, as a business owner have every right to determine who fits my description of a sound employee.  We live in America remember.  We are free to do as we chose, so long as no laws are broken.  Some things I choose not to have around me or my family. If you curse around my children, I have the right to ask you to stop.  If you offend me, I have the right to ask you to stop.   That is also a right of every American. We must not forget the things that this great country were founded on.  Conservatives, and in particular Christian Conservatives need to stand up and say  enough is enough.  This is America, and I love it.
