Neon Genesis Evangelion

Background Info
In the year 2000 A.D. the human race nearly ended with a top-secret encounter between an Antarctic expedition and a monster code-named "Angel" causing a global catastrophe that killed half of the worlds population.
Now in the year 2015, the Angels are back, but now we have a weapon to fight them with, the monstorus Evangelion. Piloted by gifted children the EVA's are the worlds only hope. Created by the ever so mysterious NERV, not evan the people who work there are sure about the properties, or capabilitys of the often unstable EVA's. Operating under the high tech city of Tokyo-3, the EVA's draw alot of attention, sometimes doing more damage then the angels when that fine line of control is broken.
Rei Ayanami
She is the pilot of EVA unit 00, and was the first child selected by the secretive NERV. Rei dosen't have a lot of friends to speak of but she dose have a lot of resepct from her class mates. She also gets along very well with Shinji's father (better then Shinji dose), which makes Shinji jelouse of her some times. Rei really doesn't have much of a personality, and has a hard time understanding emotions. She is comleatly dedicated to her work, and is willing to risk her life.
Shinji Ikari
He is the pilot of EVA unti 01, and was the second child chosen, and is naturaly talented as far as EVA's are considred. Shinji is Gendo's son, but they don't act like they are. Shinji lives with Misato and Asuka, Misato is probaly the only one who realy cares for Shinji. Mentaly, Shinji is a trian wreck, with his mother dead, no ever realy cared about him, so he has a very pesimistic way of viewing things.
Asuka Langley Sohryu
She is the pilot of the EVA unit 02, and the thrid child chosen. Asuka is practaly the exact oposite of Rei, she's outgoing, funloving, and has lots of friends. But like everyone else she has problems, Asuka's mother went crazy in an acsident with EVA 02 and ended up killing herself just befor Asuka told her that she was going to pilot the 02. So because of this she is always boasting, and dosen't always fallow orders.
