Ecovolunteer

www.ecovolunteer.org
An agency with a number of exciting projects on its books.  The cost for these is usually rather high.  Personally, I've always been sceptical of having to pay a large amount to volunteer agencies, although I understand that a high proportion of the price is a donation to the project itself.  However, for those who are perhaps not used to organising their own itineraries or feel unsure about working directly with smaller projects, this kind of agency provides a safe and organised way to do volunteer work.   We went with them to Swaziland for their "Rhino Rescue" project (look for our report in the "Africa" section) and had a very positive experience.
