You can check out his current blog at his MSN Space.
I will try my best to update this archive as quick as possible, but there are many other things to get done. So be patient! Consequently, don't have a panic attack if you missed a blog on his space and it isn't here. It will be shortly as I always have them, even if they are not published here.

Naked Aggression... SNFU...(not gunna be puttin up my own songs, as of yet anyways, if people really wanna see them they can ask me) but yeah I'll try to change it up every week or whatever and you can click on the "SONG OF THE WEEK" link to see it if it gets buried under blogs or whatever...but yeah, i'm sure nobody's gunna bother reading the songs anyways so yeah, haha. Aight! well first song to go up is....
Bad Religion - Broken She said

Blaaaaaaah! it's been now 3 weeks since I haven't put up a new song of the week (meaning I've missed two weeks when I was supposed to update). but now, back by popular demand(meaning Ryan keeps nagging me to do it so he has stuff to update to his website) the song of the week returns! my excuse...other than i'm lazy is that the past two sundays were christmas and new year's! i mean cmon! but yeah...also i didn't update because i posted a serious blog, but as usual people don't seem to want to read anything that questions what they're taught to believe by society. never questioning, you people suck. so in light of this, i believe the song of the week this week must be fitting of this. so without further ado, my song of the week update
Dag Nasty - Minority Of One Look back on what they told you
question priorities
now some will try to dictate and tell you what to say
question priorities
Look back on what they told you
question priorities
I haven't written a comment at the end of a song since like the first song of the week I think but I just havta say, think for yourselves you fucking wankers! goddamnit! Comments (2)

aight, well another week is over/beginning and all you hardcore fans of the song of the week are eager to see what crap-err.... excellent song lyrics i have to offer you so you can rejoice since your reason for existence still remains. I know, I know, a few of you might have gotten suicidal when I stopped updating for two weeks, but i'm back in business baby! so you can all relax and enjoy the cunning words i write for the pre-song of the week statement and pasionately read the magnificent lyrics i have to offer from bands that i listen to! so without further ado...i present my opening statement and reasons for choosing this song... Well, after continuously pestering Charlotte to comment on msn space day in and day out she FINALLY commented on one of my blogs, that blog being my Tsunami blog. So her comment inspired a bit of conversation and whatnot and that made me think of a song... a song which will be...THE SONG OF THE WEEK! so NOW without further ado...the song of the week!
Citizen Fish - Charity As the Charity Department at the Treasury
Profit! Weaponry doesn't feed refugees
Wembley Stadium forever on the video
But when the overkill exploited the reality
If the western world was less obsessed with proprety
And the public think the government is wonderful
well! there it is! the song of the week for this week! read it and think people... of course if you're reading this you're probably Ryan laughing at the things that i'm writing soooooo.... Don't throw chickens at stones! mep mep! she-BOP! Comments (2)

woot! alright well i missed a week again... but whatever, there's too many good songs for to choose from sometimes that i get frustrated, and then there's the fact that nobody reads them... so it's almost not worth the effort... but then again, i feel like doing it today so i will! alright well last week or whatnot my computer messed up as i was putting up the song of the week so i got uberly pissed and i didn't put up the song, i was gunna put the background music as the same as the one for the song of the week. so i should put that this week, but instead i'm putting a Leftover Crack song. I was talking with Ryan and this song popped into my head relating to the topic of conversation...soooo i'm putting it as the song of the week! i kinda don't want to because there are a good 4-5 songs from Leftover Crack that I also wanna put and I wanna make sure i put a song from every band before i start rotating...but that might take a while.... anyways! enough with the rambling and on with the Song of the Week!
Leftover Crack - Life is Pain Fucking like bunnies; Breeding like rats
You're too ugly and I'm too fat
Fucking like bunnies; Breeding like rats
We're mostly runts and too high strung
And you're too ugly and I'm too fat
Too many people on the way
Comments (3) mep! yeah, so i got your email with the last blog and i was like "8th blog? no way! this is the 9th, i remember getting the 8th last week because it had the title with the '8! not 8 factorial' ness!" then i came here, and realised that it WAS blog number 8. so i'm like riiiiiiight... then i go to geocities to update the blog, and it's already there! i'm like "jwa?!" and then i realised... YOU DIDN'T UPDATE THIS LAST WEEK WHEN YOU SENT ME THAT BLOG! so basically the point is that you have to keep to your schedule man! here are the reasons: a) it can give us some pretty wanky discussion convos b) you may get some random congrats like agodamongmeremortals' approval c) you keep my website alive with this stuff! anyway, i'm spending waaay too much time with this crap! gotta bounce and study fackin' calculus before i fail myself again! MEP le MEP! ~ RDawg! ~ PS the weakerthans song was the perfect length for writing this comment too!
05/02/2006 10:36:28 PM
lyk, omg, you got the stamp of approval! and not just ANY stamp of approval, but from agodamongmeremortals! do you know what that means!? yeah, neither do i. however, here's MY comment on your blog! firstly, the font is randomly too small... but that's ok, gotta love notepad! anyway, it's interesting to read this after listening to your views of birth and such. (now's when i throw in a bunch of crap about myself that no one will really care about) i must say, i hadn't given the whole idea much thought before. by that i mean i knew i didn't currently want a kid, so i figured i would leave the decision until "prime child making time". as of now, i have no reason to create that kind of a family when i'm older. however, i think it's safe to stick with my original plan and see what happens later! aaaanyway, commenting on the song itself... i like the reference to rabbits and rats (not just because of crack whore bunnies and horny german rats) and also the "addiction and depression is just swimmin' in my cum". that makes me tihnk of nature vs nurture argument. the problem with that is that nature and nurture (for a lot of cases) can be thought of as the same thing. specifically, if you're born and raised by your parents, than by nature you will be like them, AND by nurture because they have raised you with their beliefs etc. anyway, i've got a calculus midterm tomorrow... and an assignment due at 2pm... so you damn well better appreciate my comment! haha, but yeah, i'll jwankya on msn about this at some point faux shizzle man! peace oot!! ~ RDawg! ~
05/02/2006 10:30:04 PM
Okay, first off, I'll tell you that this is a copied and pasted comment. Why? Because I like to read a lot of blogs and I'm not creative enough to come up with a unique one for each. Also, I'm quite lazy. But then I started thinking about how I could make an ordinary copied and pasted comment meaningful. Then it hit me, I would only leave this comment on the best blogs, not all the lame ones. So, if you are reading this on your space, congratulations! This comment is my stamp of approval, so to speak. Your blog represents the good things about MSN Spaces, and I hope you keep up the good work. Well, all the best, Nathan

Alright! well in light of the stupidity coming up in a few days I've decided to make the song reflect the theme of "Love". Now, at first I was thinking of putting up the song "Love is..." by the Subhumans about how "love" is tied to so much bullshit, lies and deception. In doing so, also reflecting my bitterness about the subject... but instead I chose a different path. I think it would be much better to inform people about the things to watch out for in relationships and to watch out for abuse (abuse is not only physical, it comes in a variety of forms, emotional, intellectual, monetary, etc.) and to help people understand the types of behaviour that they don't need to put up with. The song obviously doesn't deal wtih all of them, but it's still good. Alright, well I'll let you people read the song and then I'll continue with my half-rant. So without further ado! the song of the week!
SNFU (Society's No Fucking Use) - One Last Loveshove guy:
I'd throw myself off of a bridge
When you drop your dress, I drop to my knees
I'd throw myself off of a bridge
girl:
guy:
well there it is... the song of the week. I'd just like to say, nobody has to deal with guilt-tripping or anything else like that. Don't stay with someone just because they threaten to kill themselves. You should not make your own life miserable just to make someone else content. You cannot have a healthy relationship if there is not mutual respect. as the song says "You need care to make it work both ways". Don't put up with put-downs that make you feel belittled. Don't let anyone control who you are or what you do. Now this song talks about romantic relationships in particular but that doesn't mean that you could be faced wtih abuse in other places in your life. Nobody has the right to belittle you, make you feel worthless, or hurt you in any way; not your gf/bf, nor your friends, nor your parents. You do not need people like this in your life and you shouldn't let yourself get down because of these people. It is your life to live, no one else's. Comments (1) ho ho hO! i like the message, it's very true and very real. i was expecting something dirtier (not in the sexual sense) from you around valentines day, but this is a very good choice instead. and i mean really, SNFU is just such a cool lookin' name! haha :P keep up the wankiness brotha! ~ RDawg! ~

yes! that's right! it's that time of the week again, time to rejoice as a new song of the week enters the archives of Martin's weekly song of the week! what song will be showcased this week? who knows! ....well i guess i'll havta know before this blog is over or else it kinda doesn't really work too well... and i guess you guys'll know if you read it... okay, well the point is: NEW SONG OF THE WEEK! now...what song to put... that's the real question... i have an idea... but not quite sure... alright well i think since i showcased a song about abuse last week i will continue with that theme (yes, i know from Mrs.MacGregor's english class that themes cannot be one word but rather must be a concept written in phrase or sentence form... but yeah!) so, this time i will put a song that speaks of a different type of abuse, so here we go! the new song of the week!
Dystopia - Diary of a Battered Child Smack!
alright, well there it is! that's the song of the week... and i just have to say... no child has to put up with that bullshit, none at all... there are better ways to discipline a child than to hit them... that's all i have to say. good bye all and have a nice day/night! Comments (1) man, i really like the lyrics of this song!! for example: "do as I say and not as I do" "When I die
the message is great, and by that i don't mean it's a good thing to do, but yeah you know what i mean. also, it's awesome how the lyrics are purple. they stick out nicely from the rest of the blog. i also noticed you haven't changed the song in here yet! not complaining though, weakerthans are really awesome. haha i love how it's a deep song, and then you're like "have a good day/night everyone!" haha anyway, i gotta bounce now! so YOU have a good night! ~ RDawg! ~ PS just incase you forgot, you HAVE to put Black Screen of Death on here at some point man!

mep! alright alright... this is tough... what shall be the song of the week for this week... I asked Ryan to choose between a few songs... but he based his decision on the fact that he thought the artist's name was cool... so I'm still undecided... okay fuck it! I'm gunna go with the song that I originally thought of putting up, this is the last song of the week for february so it works well... sorta... anyways! the song of le week!
State of Alert - Girl Problems Call her on the phone
I don't need no girl problems
You lower your fucking pride
I don't need no girl problems
alright! well there's the song of the week, now I know there are better songs for me to put up for the song of the week but I thought I should put this song up and make a mini-rant of it while i'm at it. Relationships are such a fucking waste of time! like hoddaimn! always having to worry what you're saying so you don't hurt the other person's feelings, bla bla bla, what should i say? am i talking too much? am i talking too little? what's going on? baaah fuck it all! it's just a bunch of mind games and bullshit. I'm not gunna change who I am just to make some chick happy, fuck it, I am who I am. ...Of course you actually can find happiness in a relationship... i think... but it seems nowadays that most people aren't looking for happiness, but rather just to have a relationship... yes it would be nice to find someone to date or whatever and be happy, but I'd rather not have a relationship at all then have to deal with mind games and bullshit; I've already got other problems to deal with in my life, i don't need something else on top of that. bah, people suck. aaaaanywho! i should make a more coherent blog of all that at some point but I'm not in the mood for it right now... so yes! that's it for of the song of the week! tune in next week for the 13th song of the week! Bey Bey every le one, take care and have a nice day! Comments (5) yES Charlotte!! nice comment!!! anyways, it was good to get your opinion about the song, and i totally get what you mean about when you said about how girls are sterotyped or whatever. like whenever i listen to certain songs i think "i wonder what a girl would think about this" or whatever. but some songs are just like that, there's other songs that have the girl's point of view in the song. in this particular case it's a (straight) male talking about (straight) teenage girls in general. it's a song about a guy that's fed up with stupid bitches. (obviously there are cool and smart girls out there who are worth the time to date and get to know) but yeah. okay i'm done defending this song. i really like the comments you (charlotte) and ryan have put up. i must agree with most of the things you guys have said. i still like this song though, lol, i guess i just look at it from a different point of view. oh well, i liked the controversy that was stirred up over this! ...unfortunately it wasn't over one of the blogs that was designed to stir up controversy... but at least this is something! thanks for commenting you guys! and Charlotte you also have balls!(metaphorically speaking!) fucking rights! aight, that's all, hope to see comments on my other stuff soon! :@ :P
02/03/2006 10:14:44 PM
Okay, I agree with a lot of the points that were made. But songs like this really tick me off inside. Well not songs but jsut messages portrayed. I'm really sick of females (in a relationship situation) are always stereotyped. Now Don't get me going about the guy but I'm just going to defend the females right now, cause well... actually no! Haha! I was about to say "cause I'm a female and I'd like to stand up for us" but then when you think about it, I stereotype females SOO much ... Okay I'm going to stand up for myself and those who are similar to myself. SCREW IT! you know what I mean... I don't like the "I don't need girl problems" excccuuuse me I think it would be better put as relationship problems. Like who's to say that this guy's not fucked up himself! Anyways! Yes girls can be bitches but ... wait I'm going to link this commment to my next point. Relationsips are not a waste of time unless someone were to date just for the sake of dating. But that doesn't mean a person has to find their "true love" while dating. I find it an experiance to learn more about other people, and learn about yourself. How you react to things, what you do and do not like, and you develop the way you look at things, and develop who you are. Someone might have a really bad time in a realtionship but everything is a learning experiance. And there are a lot of dumb girls (and boys) out there, but don't forget those who actually have a sense of what's going on. If you were to think about your frinedships and how your frineds are so unique and so understanding, there's others out there in the sea of stupidity that can actually have an impact on a person. Having someone care for you at that level, even if the whole thing didn't work out. It's a boost of confidence for one thing, and everything you learn from it. Sure many problems can spawn from relationships but kinda like what Ryan said, it depends on how you handle it and how it will effect you. If someone is really unhappy with their girlfriend/boyfriend, then don't go through with it instead of continueing and building the pain. There Martin I commented no more getting mad at me now ha ha
01/03/2006 4:52:00 PM
yes yes Ryan, i have to agree with you (partly anyways) about the first four lines thingy and that always having to know where someone is, is a little stalker-ish but yeah. okay this song (to me) isn't about bashing girls, it's about how relationships suck. also where you say "Rest of the song: who's problem is the lowering of pride? who's problem is the pain? as i said before, YOU are responsible for what you do with your life. don't blame your weakness and laziness on those who are taking advantage of it. DO something about it. if you don't have control of yourself, you are hopeless." that's the point the song IS making, that you (people in general) should take control of their own lives and not get sucked into mind games that lead nowhere. it's talking about (teen) relationships in general, not ones that are actually founded on trust and compassion. so yeah. basically i agree with most of what you say, and to me the song is a kind of social commentary on the the status quo of relationships and how it is not a good thing (mixed in with a bit of bitterness of course!). reread the song comparing the notes you took, it all fits in exactly with what you're saying, that's basically what it's commenting on... anyways... good fucking comment man! i like that finally SOMEONE has the balls to write a comment stating what they believe, not caring whether they offend me or not, fucking rights! 27/02/2006 4:29:27 PM
okaayyy many thoughts about this blog! firstly, you bastard! haha, not putting up the song i schwanted! justin case you were wondering (haha i made a funny!) i was actually interested in Youth of the Modern World (i think that's what it was called?) but oh well, this song is causing some crazy thoughts! okay, time to discuss! :D alright, random thoughts first... if relationships are a waste of time, why purposefully waste your time complaining about them? that's just replacing one waste of time with another. get on with your life instead! ahh ok i have too many things to think about with respect to the song COMMENTS ON THE SONG: First 4 Lines:
Next 4 Lines:
Rest of the song:
bahh i've got way too many things going through my head. fackja, i gotta leave for some engineering meeting now so i'll h'wankyalaterjwanksta! ~ RDawg! ~
27/02/2006 3:56:33 PM
Ok, I completely agree with the relationship issue, but for once I'm going to be positive and say that if you find the right person, they won't want you to change and will love you for who you are. lats.

Well well well, this operation has been going for 13 weeks now! (well more actually since I've skipped a couple of weeks of putting up songs for various different reasons) incredible! who would have thought I would have made it this far?! I know I wouldn't! I woulda been sure I'd have quit after like 2 weeks, actually a lot of credit is due to Rayn for pushing me to continue the song of the week so that he would have something to put up on his website every week, kudos to him! if it weren't for him I'd never get any comments on the songs and I probably would have discontinued the song of the week due to lack of interest, but it keeps on going strong! so, in honour of the 13th song of the week (13 being my favourite number, because even I am just as stupid as anyone else in believing that a certain number could posssibly be better than any other number... actually, that's not true, I just like 13 because it tends to be "bad luck" for most people ) aaanyways! in honour of the 13th song of the week I've decided to treat you, my loyal viewers, with a song that I've written! , yes, in spite of the fact that I said I WOULDN'T be putting up any songs written by me in my first song of the week blog, i'm breaking my own promise to bring to you a song written by yours truly. still haven't figure out exactly which one... but we shall see ... I know Ryan would like me to put "Black Screen of Death" but that's not really a lyrical piece of art... well actually it's pretty ingenious, but that's not why it's great, it's great because I recorded myself singing it! In fact, if you wish to hear it, you can find it at Ryan's website! http://www.geocities.com/conscious_matter/Funnies.html there! go check it out now! there's plenty of AWESOME stuff you should check out there! anyways! hmmm, well I've got a few in mind... Tribute to Atheism is pretty good... but I wanna keep my blogs free of too much religiosity (if that even is a word). people are free to have their own beliefs as long as they're not hurting other people. let's see... i've got plenty of depressing songs, but i wanna put something (relatively) positive, there's plenty of time later for me to put up depressing songs. so that leaves me with a few politically charged songs (these range greatly from straight-forwardly political to socio-political, which a lot of people don't really consider political songs...) and a few other random songs... alright, well I was considering Social Suicide and Slaves to the Masses, but they're slightly on the long side and since you wankers tend to have the attention span of about 5 seconds I can safely expect not many people would have read it (not like many are going to read this anyways, lol) alright! well I have zee song of the week! and without further ado...actually, I just changed my mind... actually no... baaaah, okay, I've got a song, I like it, but I wanna say beforehand, it's not my best lyrically... not my worst either... but I have written better (in my opinion anyways) so yeah! NOW without further ado! the song of the week!
Martin Gomez-Riviere - Sometimes You Just Gotta... Sometimes you gotta be down to know what it’s like to be up
Life’s tough, life’s a bitch
Sometimes you gotta keep walking when you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel
I know it’s hard to keep going and push yourself through
anyways! so yeah! that's the song of the week! some background information... that song was written in august of 2004, which was the summer after grade 11 and before grade 12. I really like this song, it always inspires me whenever I'm down, cuz I can read it and remember, it is possible for me to be happy and I just gotta work at it and take it easy and not stress myself out. Anyways, I hope you enjoy, please comment, I would like to hear your opinions on my song, if there's anything that I should improve, or to tell me that it's awesome, or to tell me that it sucks, whatever, just leave a comment expressing what you think about it. Anyways! this concludes another episode of "The Song of the Week"! See you next week folks! Take care, have a nice day everyone! Comments (1) DO I LOOK LIKE A FUCKING SQUIRREL TO YOU?!? yeah, just had to get that out of my system. and hey hey, look at this, i'm commenting on your song of the week! and i'm NOT online! in fact, i'm not even appear offline! my msn isn't working, but i typed in your blog url from memory JUST to read the song of the week. see the dedication? first off i'd like to say it's awesome that you put one of your own songs up to be criticized and picked at (possibly again... mm no actually i don't think this song was in the daily dawg... haha) it isn't black screen of death... but i like the link haha. i still think you have to put those lyrics up somewhere... not necessarily in a song of the week blog. OK holy scheisse enough rambling there rayn! onto the song!! h'ok, so i can't remember the last time i read one of your songs... but i DO remember most of them weren't as flowing as this one haha. it reads übernicely (wtf? me using über??) also, it's weird to see you writing something with such a positive message. it's really good though. lyrics kick ass. very true. i read a quote somewhere - in fact it might be in my hallway on the quote board... brb... "only those who are willing to risk going too far can possibly know how far they can go" so overall, i like the written aspect of this song. definitely would like to see what happens if you tried to add music to it. i'll pitch in your mo-ney! ~ RDawg! ~ PS you know damn right i posted the 12th song of the week last night!
