Hope/Gina gives Bo the potion and Stephano and Rolff do their first phase in trying to brainwash him. After Bo wakes up he notices that he had lost several hours. After noticing Hope/Gina pining for John, he calls him and gets him to scold her, and convince her that she is really Hope.
Meanwhile, Gina is in the castle with Kurt, while Gretta and Erik arrive to investigate the castle. Gina, escapes several times, but is always brought back to her prison.
After talking endlessly with Hope/Gina, Bo starts getting his Fancy Face back partly. He convinces her to help Stephano steal the painting he wants, so they can get him tossed in jail. They plan to do this at a grand ball being thrown at the rediscovery of Princess Gina.(Hope) She is to plan to be sick, and when she is staying the night, she is supposed to steal the painting.
A sympathetic Kurt, decides to take Gina to a ball so she can see how her old friends are doing, under the disguise of being his mother.
All arrive generally at the same time. Gina is shocked at realizing that Hope is pretending to be her, and that even her own daughter believes so.(Gretta was pretending as set, by good ol' Bo) She vows to get revenge on Hope and Stephano. Bo is tricked outside by Bart, where he is knocked out and imprisioned upside down in a burning building. Doing a stunt worthy of James Bond007 he escapes.
Hope steals the painting, and we don't yet know what she does with it. Bo comes to the house after the ball, and is frantic for Hope and gets himself arrested.
Gina kidnaps Hope, leaving her with Kurt, and confronts a very shocked and terrified Stephano at her old suite. She reveals a fake a painting which Stephano believes is the true one, and she sets it and Stephano on fire.
Hope escapes and runs to the nearest airport, where she has trouble convincing them that she is an American citizen in trouble.
Later Gina, unexpectadly meets with Stephano on a bridge, and as Stephano sporting a mummy-bandage on his face is roughing her up... pushes Gina off the bridge into the water, where he thinks she is lost for good.
Onboard the Fancy Face, Bo and the then-rebellious Shawn-Dougles (Just Shawn, OK, dad? Just Shawn) meet a Hope aboard the fancyface. But tah-dah, as Bo leaves the ship the way-too sneaky Gina calls Kurt and tells him to watch Hope, not knowing that he is chasing her through the woods in Paris.
Hope falls into the water, and as she is swimming for her life, she is hit with a wave from Rolff and Stephano's satellite, which erases her entire memory, as Gina, and temporarily of Hope. A fisherman picks her up, and takes her to his cottage. Kurt catches up and says that Hope is his fiance.
Meanwhile in Salem, Gina signs up for therapy with Marlana in hopes of breaking her and John up, so she can have Jon to herself. Shawn notices that something is different about his mom.
The fisherman that is keeping Hope, and Kurt sees a picture of Hope/Princess Gina in the newspaper, connecting her to a robbery of the painting. He starts getting suspicious. Kurt desperatly tries to avoid Hope seeing, the newspaper. Hope remembers, giving birth, and her and Bo's boat, The Fancy Face 2 in a dream.
The police come to the house, and Hope and Kurt make a run for it. Hope realises Kurt has been lieing to her, and then when she runs, he catches her and brings her to Gina's castle.
Gina, after making Marlana suspicious in their sessions, by muttering things about Jon, decides that it is too late for her to go back to Jon. She see's how dedicated Bo is to Hope, and decides to go after him. The two get closer, with Shawn still being suspicious. After a dance Bo sees Gina smoking, and she says that it is an 'old habit from when Stephano had made her Gina". She says she wants to sail away for the weekend, and when Bo asks her where, she makes the mistake of saying the Horten Cabin which has bad memories for Bo and Hope. They sleep together, after all in the cabin, and Bo starts being worried that there may be more Gina in Hope than he thought.
Gina goes to Stephano, and tells him that she will show him where his precious painting is. They take a private flight to Paris and they arrive at the castle, and she locks Stephano and Hope together.
Gina goes back to Salem, and on Christmas Eve, she announches to the shocked family that she wants to marry Bo.
Stephano finds a radio which is tuned into only classical music, and makes a telegraph, and broadcasts an S.O.S signal. Hope breaks it accidently. They get it to work, using a necklace which Hope has from Bo.
Gina starts to act more and more like Gina. She tells Gretta who she is, and gets her and her old friend Lilly to keep it a secret.
Hope gets really sick, and begs Kurt for some medicine. She recalls that the last time she felt like this is when she was pregnant with Shawn-D. She asks Kurt for a pregnancy test kit. She does the test, and realises that she is preganant. Stephano, somehow finds out also(I can't remember how, sorry!) and then Hope gets bitten by a Black Widow spider. Stephano, sucks the poison out.
The day of the wedding, Gina threatens Marlana, to butt out of her buisness. Doug and Julie, are shocked to see Gina wearing a tiara, as part of her wedding dress. Lilly later convinces her to go without it. Gina brings a gun in her dress. At the wedding Shawn, Julie, Doug and Marlana all try to convince Gina not to marry Bo yet, and to get therapy. She gets angry and goes through with the wedding. Meanwhile, John knocks his memory-chip out and starts remembering him and Hope on the Submarine during his honeymoon, and being Stephano's mercenary. Rolff, steals the chip.
Shawn hears Gina talking on the phone, and gets Belle to hit the redial button, they hear Kurt's voice. Lilly sees them, and tells Gina. Gina, asks Shawn to come out on the balconey. She pulls a gun on him and tells him to jump off the ledge, she fires at his feet and he falls off, landing on a ledge several feet lower, knocking himself out. Marlana, sees this and confronts Gina. Gina is about to shoot her when Bo and John run out to rescue her. Bo is wrestling with Gina and the gun goes off shooting her.
They rush her off to the hospital and after one night she dies.
Bo is devestaded. Shawn turns out alright, with just a slight headache.
Stephano, becomes sick and Kurt refuses to bring anymore food. he tricks Hope into eating all the food. She discovers this and says taht she wants both of them to live through this.
Doug and Julie, start sorting through Gina's room, and they notice that this is nothing of how hope would have her room. Lilly tells them of how Gina told her that she was the Princess Gina. Doug and Julie realize that thi swould make sense, and they try to get the funeral director to stop the burning of the body. Bo arrives in time, and they search for a scar, which Gina would have from getting her appendix removed as a kid. They couldn't find it, but Gretta finds a faint bump. They call away to get DNA testing. They find out in a few days that it really was Gina.
After getting Victor's help in investigating Bo decides to go look for Hope in Paris. They decide to bring all their family and friends, and a terrified Lilly.
Rolff plans to test John's memory by wiring the entire plane, with his little gizmo's and also so he can control the plane. He places two proffessional piolets on board in case things get out of hand. John almost catches one of them talking to Rolff, but he convinces them otherwise.
Hope and Stephano, disarm Kurt when he tries to kill Stephano, and Hope makes a run for it. Stephano, is knocked out. Kurt catches up with her again and locks her in one of the rooms. He calls a doctor to examine her.
In the air Rolff takes control of the plane by knocking out the piolets with knock-out-gas, and John starts acting suspicious as he starts pioleting the plane. He manages to steady the plane with Bo and Shawn's help. From hints that he recieves, John realizes that there is a bomb somewhere in the plane. He decides to check the cargo bay, along with Shawn and Erik. Rolff opens a door, and Marlana is almost sucked out. Gretta, and the chain of Salem citizens manage to shut the door. John finds the bomb in the coffin of Gina, and finds out that any movement will set it off. He uses shaving cream to get past this problem and throws it out of the cargo-door a second before it blows up.
The plane goes down, with everybody OK, and they swim to an island. On the island they flag down a plane, for Bo and he leaves for Paris. Gretta and Erik, find Gina's body washed up on shore, while swimming.
Bo goes to the holders of the ball from way back, and asks what they know of Hope's whereabouts, and they try to have him arrested again. He beats up all their security guards and leaves in a huff.
When John arrives in Paris he tells them that maybe, they should check out the castle. Bo is doubtful, but they go anyway.
Kurt hides Hope in the tower again, with a dieing Stephano. She shes Bo, and starts yelling, but nobody can hear her.
Kurt acts suspicious, and John in a moment of fury almost breaks his neck. The entire family searches the castle. Belle sees a Kurt diappear when he enters a room, and she see's the begining of the secret panel, but Kurt closes the door before she takes too much notice. Everybody gets discouraged, and Bo wants to go elsewhere.
Lilly, Marlana, Bo and John find a room which contains all the paintings which Gina had stolen for Stephano.
Gretta has Gina's funeral at the castle. As the casket is being picked up it falls open and Gina's finger points towards Hope's tower prision. John and Hope look, but they cannot see, because of the reflection of the sun. Bo and the rest start leaving.
Hope and Stephano start a fire in the fireplace, trying to get their attention. The fire rages out of control. The people in the cars notice the smoke and head back. Bo and Shawn charge into the house, and find the secret panel. They finally get the door open, and Bo gets poor Hope out. They pass John on the stairs and Hope tells him that there is one more person inside.
Bo and Shawn bring Hope out to her loving family who are overjoyed to see her. Shawn hugs her and goes back into the building to find John.
John finds Stephano, and threatens to leave him for all the bad things he has done to him, his friends and his family. Stephano notices that John starts to remember. Shawn arrives and they get Stepaho out, just as the castle blows up from the natural gas which was stored inside.
Hope announches to Bo that she is pregnant, and Bo realizes that he is not the father...
And so the love story of Bo and Hope goes on, and the of soul Princess Gina rests in peace. (we hope!)
Hope meets up with Gina who gives her advice as a supposidly friend of Gina to stay in Paris for a while longer, so that she can get ahold of Hope more without Bo's interference. Hope agree's and a dismayed yet 'Hope'full Bo heads back to Salem.
