I bought her as a 2 month old foal from her breeder, Ian Bruce of Euroka Stud in the Meglaong Valley, in 1992.
I even got to choose her name!
She was shown a few times at halter & due to rising interest rates in 1994, the property had to be sold. The purchasers of the house bought Classic. They on-sold her to Ben O'Sullivan.
Ben is a dressage trainer & rider, now based in Queensland - Australian Coloured Performance Horses.
Ben took Classic to great heights in the dressage arena & in the hacking world. Titles including
PHAA - R.O.M. in Hacking in 1998.
PHAA - R.O.M. in Dressage in 1998.
PHAA - Superior Horse Award for Dressage in 1999.
1997-98 & 1998-99 Honour Roll High Point in Dressage.
1997 Supreme Ridden Exhibit at the
Australian National Horse Show.
Ben sold her to a breeder & she had been sold on yet again & through a stroke of luck I found Classic's "For Sale" ad in Horse Deals & bought her back in August this year.
She is now in foal to Two Eyed Colonel for an
August 2008 foal.
Once the EI situation has resolved I would also like to show her under saddle again, so keep watching!!
