I'm finally here!!!
Here's the summary...
Mama and Daddy got to the hospital around 7:30 AM on Monday morning. They started the Pitocin around 9:30. At 10:20, they came to break the water. By 1:30, Mama's contractions were really bad and only about 30 seconds apart, so she could hardly get to relax and breathe in between. They checked her and she was 3-4 cm dilated and 90% effaced, so she got her WONDERFUL epidural. She started pushing around 5:40 and I was born (with the help of a vaccuum since my umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck and my heartrate started rising at the end) at 6:49 PM!! |
