|
This morning was spent at the training center working on behavior disruption, comfort commands and off leash obedience. This afternoon Casey had a real treat, her trainer Jennifer came to visit. Casey was very happy to see both Jennifer and her sister. Scott and Deb were also happy to finally get to meet Jennifer after spending several months corresponding via email. After seeing Jennifer we headed out for more public access training. The first stop was Pet Smart. Casey struggled a little at first but after some firm corrections she came around nicely. Then it was off to the mall where she did GREAT! At the mall, we spent time with Jeremy learning how to do stability work on the stairs which is going to be a huge help for Connor. This evening when we got back to the hotel Casey got her first real chance to 'work' with Connor. Connor had a very tough afternoon, and started melting down. We were able to call Casey over and put her in 'Lap' on top of Connor and he calmed right down. It was so nice to see all of this work paying off. Please pray for us over the next few days. We have one more day of training and then on Wednesday we have our public access testing. |
