When Jos� de Braga carved a new sword inspired by Duncan MacLeod, he choosed a full dragon handle. In the middle of the 2nd season Adrian Paul tried it out and rejected it. Probably the handle was too big, because you can feel every detail of the dragon when you hold it. So it never appeared in the series or the films. However, Davis and Panzer still sell it as the official sword of Duncan, first they sold it as the official sword of the movies. It is made out of 420c stainless steel (non combat-worthy) by the spanish Martespa of Spain. The sword features an 5" partial tang in a 13" long imitation ivory (plastic) handle. Overall it is 42" long.
