To create paper that looks old, soak blank paper in tea or coffee for a few minutes, and then set it out flat on a screen or old towel or hang it with clothespins until dry. Do this soon so it has time to dry.
Lace books together with yarn or string after punching holes in the side with a hole punch.
Use color whenever possible and make your project look neat.
Don’t assume you will get a perfect score on your work. Do enough projects to achieve your goal with points to spare. Plan ahead, budget your time, hand in projects as soon as they are completed, and keep track of your points earned so you know exactly what score you have.
