There are two West lines documented in the "History of the Town of
Stonington" from 1649-1900 republished in 1966 by Lawrence Verry
Incorporated, Mystic, Conn.
 
Francis West c1604 Salisbury Eng - 2 Jan 1692 Duxbury MA. is one and 
the other is Matthew West 1587 Wherwell in Hants, Hampshire, Eng - his 
desc Thomas West came to New England in 1633 and descendants were in 
Conn.
