Elizabeth ROGERS. After much searching, I have been told of a library with machine to make good paper copies of microfiche. However, they charge 20 cents a page. It is in Morristown, NJ. TUTTLE. In the book "TUTTLE - TUTHILL Line in America" by Alva M. Tuttle he lists your James Smith TUTTLE as being born 3 Oct 1823 The son of Thomas TUTTLE who was born 25 Nov 1798 at Newfields, NH (right next door to Stratham. He lists the marriage to Caroline saying she was from Thomaston,ME. The books lists 8 children: 1 Caroline S b. 19 Jun 1847, 2 Virginia M b. 24 Dec 1849 3-4 died young 5 Henry V b. 20 Nov 1860, 6-7 died young and 8 Frank A b. 18 May 1867. This Tuttle book seems to be a private printing from 1968. Let me know if you need further...I expect to get back to Concord next week.
