Looking for info on a Solomon Spangler b. abt 1804 Pa. A gedcom from
the FHC shows his wife was a Renick. List his children but not data.
Gedcoming it to ROOTS the resulting file shows a Mary Ann Macklin
along with 7 other names that are not linked.  Info shows only the
name with no other data. Printing out a Family Group for Mary Ann
shows she was married but husband's name is missing. Question: Does
anyone have any data on her? Since she along with the others was
included in the Gedcom, I suspect that she and the others probably
married some of Solomon's children. Any info would be appreciated.

Hello Shelly, I think I dropped you a message a while back in ref. to the 
man who had the Spangler database going on.  I was doing this for a friend 
who dosen't have  a modem.  I then contacted my co-worker (Dan Spangler) 
and told him to get his family names together which he did,  although it 
took him a while.   Well now I'm helping him fill out his first ever 5 
generation chart.
 Guess what, now I see his Spanglers are from Fairfield Co., Ohio also!!  
Boy will he be surprised that I found another researcher.  I don't think I 
will tell him right away, but surprise him after I see what connection 
there may be.

 He's not into computers but his teenage children are somewhat.  I think 
they are using an Apple?   If you have a IBM dos-type program I could load 
it on mine and show him.  I'm using BK for my own family and can read HD 
3.5 or 5.25 disks.  Boy I'm really getting ahead of myself here.  I don't 
really know if your connected yet.  I'll give you a few names so you can 
see what he has.
