     I'm seeking birth and parentage info on Elizabeth SAYLES presumably
born at Smithfield, Rhode Island ca 1759, married to Jeremiah POWELL of
Massachusetts ca 1780, removed to New York State ca 1789 and died at
Whitestown Twp, Oneida County NY 1843.  They had seven children: Ada,
Pardon, Lydia, William, Philo, Archibald & Liberty.
     Judith Hurst, author of the two volume "Sayles Country," has been
unable to identify this Elizabeth Sayles.
