Sandison Family

I just received a copy of a diary and would like to share some 
information with those who may be researching Scotland and it's 
immigrants.  Any further information on these people very welcome and 
appreciated.
 

1-- William (I) SANDISON-7355 b. Scotland, d. bef 1856 The Sandisons
lived around New Mill and Keith, small towns about thirty miles North
of Glenbucket.  The Sandisons belonged to the Gunn Clan. sp-Jane
DAWSON-7356 b. Scotland, d. 1889 Huntsville MO. The Dawsons were of
the Davidson clan.

2-- William (II) SANDISON-7353 (1838)b. on the farm of
Easterbucket, in  Glenbucket, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. His
mother's family and ancestors had lived on this same
farm since 1733. In 1856 William  sailed to Canada, where
he stayed for several years.  He then immigrated to
Middlesex, PA where he married.  Moved to Huntsville,  MO in
1866.

married in          Huntsville MO
    2-- Mary (I) SANDISON-7366 (1840) immigrated from Scotland and 
married in         Huntsville MO
