The Robinette's of King's co.,Ireland The First of the Family to arrive in Ireland, was a Zorababel Robinette. He had come to ireland during the french revolution in 1789. That Zorababel had served inthe Queen's army,dying from a horse kick ; his wife ,who was English,drew a pension from the queen for 37 years,her name was Alicia ,she lived to be 105 years of age. The William Robinette,I had traced back to was born in Daingean (Phillipstown),Kings co(offaly) ,Ireland. This William had a house and farm in the Townspark. He had married a Amelia Walton, born in Queen's co.,Ireland. Th Giffith's valuation show A family leasing land from , The Duke of Devonshire. The leasors are as follows: Zora,Robert,John Robinett. The records of the Griffiths show that a William Robinette had leased land in Killaderry,Townspark Kings co.
