RAY family research by Chas Morrison 20 June 1990 ------------------------------------------------ I have info on the Ray family from Salem, MA in the early 1600s. The name was spelled three ways then; REA, RAE, and RAY. From the LDS records I am trying to piece it together since I believe that they are the same family but different spellings. Some one in the family was a witness to the Salem Witch trials. Also, the later spelling in my family is REA and I have info to the early 1800s. The only thing I don't have is the connection between them in Salem and Eastern Ohio. Most of the info I have is birth, death, place of birth, and place of burial.
