Pierce by Letha Strong 19 July 1990 ------------------------------------------------ Abraham Pierce came to MA c 1622. According to one book he may have been the son of a John Pierce, M.P. who according to some books may have been not so nice. I also found a Wm. Pierce who sailed on many ships. Since the one book mentions Abraham as being a shipmaster, I wondered if there may not be a connection there also. I really have no proof other than books. I would like to at least get Abraham back to England and see if I can find his parents for sure and then continue farther back. I wonder if anyone has any information on these names? Benjamin (5) was the Son of Stephen (4) and Esther (Fletcher) Pierce and was born @ Chelmsford, Mass 25 Nov 1726 a d @ Chelmsford 16 Jun 1764. Stephen (4) was the Son of Stephen (3) and Tabitha (Parker) Pierce Stephen (3) was the Son of Thomas (2) and Elizabeth (Cole) Pierce Thomas (2) was the Son of Thomas (1) and Elizabeth (Worthington) Pierce.
