My line of HALL family in Linn Co., Iowa, came from Ohio.  I have no
record of a Peter HALL.  Does not look like a connection.
     
I have the Enfield, CT, PEASE family in my background, having
descended from Mindwell PEASE (d/o Ebenezer) b. 10 Jun 1722, who m.
15 Sep 1741 Amos BULL (Ebenezer,Robert, John, Robert).  Is your line
this Enfield CT PEASE family?

    Joseph (1740-1791) m. 1764 Amy HATCH and had,
     Rebecca (1765-1848) m.1. 1785  Stephen SWI.

You and Henry Riley are both sweethearts.  Did you perchance see the family 
group sheet I sent to him here on the echo a  couple of days ago?  I am 
trying to get my husband's Somers, CT PEASEs further back than Horace PEASE 
Jr. (born June, 1821), father of Delina E. PEASE (born July, 1848).  I 
already knew about Delina from my in-laws when I started--they live in East 
Longmeadow, Mass. and re-checked her tombstone for me.  The rest of the 
information I gleaned from the 1850-1910 censuses. (The sheer number of 
PEASEs to be found in a little place like Somers, CT on these censuses is 
astounding.)

That this could be Robert PEASE's line is a help.  The Horace PEASE Jr. 
line that I'm chasing is my father-in-law's.  My mother-in-law is also a 
PEASE descendant:  from Samuel PEASE and Elizabeth WARNER, presumedly of 
Springfield, Mass.  As  Springfield and Somers are so close geographically, 
I've long wondered if there is a tie-in between my in-laws' PEASE lines.

I'd be delighted to reimburse you and Henry Riley for your time and 
expenses if Horace and Delina turn up in the Rice book.  Thank you.

Looking at your listings of P names, it would look probable that you may
have some information on my Pease line.  What I have comes from a
family genealogy book that my grandmother made up in the 40's but in
the case of Pease - no references.  Mine goes:

Robert Pease b. 1607 in England  d. 1644 in Salem Mass
             m. Maria ( ? ) Pease
    Robert, John (My Line), Nathaniel, Sarah, Mary

   John Pease  b. 1630 in England  d. 29 Jun 1689 Enfield, CT
               m. 1) Mary Goodell
                  2) Ann Cummings

If this matches so far, I would like to know what you have as a
reference, etc.  I continue 5 more generations to Sallie Aurelia
Pease b. 1801 in Stockbridge, Mass.
