William O'Dell, b. ca. 1600, Newport, Buckinghamshire, England. Came
to Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1639, d.1676 in Fairfield, CT. m. Rebecca
Brown, b. ca 1606.  Their children were: John, James, b. 1640, Rebecca
b.1642, William, b. ca. 1644.  A greatgrandson, Benjamin O'Dell, became
governor of New York.

     There is also a :
William ODELL of Bedforshire who was of Concord, MA about 1635/7 and
later died in Fairfield, CT in 1676.  See NYG&BR 44:118 and maybe
"Twelve Families - An American Experience" by Wm.F. O'Dell.
     I am related through:
Mary ODELL bapt. 1605 Salford Parsih, Bedforshire, m.1630 Benjamin
TURNEY.  To Concord, MA 1634/9 and to Fairfield, CT by 1644.  She m2.
Joseph MIDDLEBROOK.
