I'm seeking help to identify the birthplace of Luther MESSENGER.
Luther was born in Mass., about 1783, according to the 1850 census
of Athol, NY.  His first wife died in Rockingham, VT, in 1808.
He married his second wife, Mercy TOZER, and they came to Athol,
NY (now a part of Stony Creek, NY), during the 1820's.  Luther
died there in 1860 and his widow (Mercy) moved to Grafton, VT,
where two of her daughters resided both having married men named
FISHER.

Would appreciate any information/help anyone is willing to provide.
