MEHLIN / MAYER by Virginia Peterson Wed Jun 26 1991 ------------------------------- We have a booklet on the MEHLIN family, originating in Germany, that founded the MEHLIN Piano Company of NYC in the late 1800's. My husband has an ancestor named Marie MEHLIN, who came from Stuttgart in the mid-1800's, but females aren't mentioned in the book, so we don't know how she ties in. She married Charles MAYER, who came from Munich. Does anyone have any information on these families? We'd be willing to share the genealogy in the booklet with anyone interested.
