McMILLAN by Bill Buckley 04 Mar 1990 ------------------------------------------------ I would like to communicate with anyone interested in the following: Archibald McMILLAN arrived in Boston, MA in 1875 or 1876. He had his wife, Catherine Livingston, and at least two sons, Archibald and John, with him. He settled in the Hyde Park section of Boston and opened a Tailor Shop on Tremont Street about 1880. There were three additional children, Edward Neil in 1877, Mary Jeannie(Mollie) in 1880 and Katie L. in 1884 (lived only six months). Catherine died in 1885 and Archibald married Barbara ROBERTS who was born in Prince Edward Island in approx. 1862. They had William in 1889, Archibald Livingston in 1891, Katherine in 1891 and my Grandmother, Lizzie Roberts (aka Elizabeth Roberts) in 1895. I have information on the McMILLAN line back to Rothesay, Bute before they moved to Morton by Thornhill, Dumfries. ----------------------------------------------------------------- -------- Bill Buckley, 9 Fox Hollow, Derry, NH, 03038.
