LISLE IN IRELAND/PENNSYLVANIA

I am researching gggg-grandfather John Lisle (c.1758/Ireland-1808/Ohio). 
(alt spellings LYLE/LYSLE) I would like to find out birthplace/date and 
parents. 
 
Various published info shows was born in/emigrated from Ireland to 
America. Family was Scot/Irish so probably Northern Ireland.  IGI for 
Ireland has no near fits which might be expected as probably not Church 
of England.  Filby shows no reasonable match for an emigration. 
 
1.  Any suggestions on how to trace a non-C of E (Presbyterian) birth 
    in Ireland in 18th cent? 
2.  Any other sources for emigration info? 
 
Family legend, as printed in several late-19th cent county histories is 
that he emigrated as a young man to America with an older brother.  I 
pick him up in PA where he has married a Rachel IRWIN who gives birth 
to a Robert LISLE in Sept. 1785.  I have not been able to trace a 
marriage record in PA.  nor birthplace/date/parents for Rachel IRWIN 
(b. PA).  nor birthplace/date for Robert. 
 
3.  Does anybody have a LISLE record which could fit the brother? 
4.  Does anyone have a source or a ref to source for these early PA births? 
5.  Does anyone have info on the marriage?  (Book early PA marriages bef. 
    1790 does not have any matches, but states that marriages during 
    Rev War were lost.) 
6.  Any sources/info on the IRWIN family?
