    "John Lake descended from the Lakes of Normanton, Yorkshire,
     who claimed descent from the Cailleys from the Albinis,
     Earls of Arundel and Sussex, from the Counts of Louvaine
     (the right line of Charlemagne), and from William the
     Conqueror" - Heraldic Journal, vol 4, p 74"
    "Margaret Read was daughter of Edmund Read of Wickford,
     Essex County, England.  Her ancestry can be traced back
     to 1534.  She was the first white woman who went to New
     London, CT.

Marshall - no, I don't really research LAKE's in New Jersey.  I hope my 
Indiana LAKE family can someday be tied to those in New Jersey though.
