KNAPP by Fred-Diana Bienvenu Sat May 18 1991 ------------------------------- We have been watching the discussion about KNAPPs with interest. Recently we found that we have what seem to be two Sarah KNAPPs marrying into allied families in CT. Their details follow: 1) Sarah KNAPP m. (? in 1691 in Stamford or Greenich CT) Ebenezer MEAD (b. 1663 Greenwich CT). Their children were Ebenezer, Caleb, Sarah, Hannah, Jabez, David, Abigail, Susanna and Jemima, born over the time span 1692-1708, all in Greenwich CT. 2) Sarah KNAPP m. Samuel HUSTED and had children Nathaniel and Joseph in 1698 and 1700 in Stamford CT. We are having problems identifying these women any further through the information in the IGI and wonder if either or both of them may occur in the KNAPP book which has been mentioned. There appears to be some promise in the use of the name Caleb, which is a name used in the line of migrant Nicholas KNAPP. We appreciate any help you may be able to provide. N.Y., d. 1879 Washington Co. Kansas. Her father's name was William KNAPP (no dates) and her mother was Sally SEELY (no dates). If any of this sounds familiar, let me know. --- QuickBBS 2.66 (Reg) * Origin: The Family Historian - (619)-279-5746 - (1:202/709)
