I am a KILBOURN/KILBORN descendant from early New England immigrant:
        Thomas KILBOURN of Wood Ditton, Cambridge ENG
        bp 8 May 1578, m. 5 Sep 1604 in Moulton, Suffolk, ENG to
        Frances MOODY, dau. George & Margaret (  ) MOODY

This KILBOURN family left ENG 15 Apr 1635 on the ship "Increase" with  
their 7 or 8 children and settled in Wethersfield CT. Their 3 sons  carried 
on the name, but I descend from a daughter:
        Mary KILBOURN, b. c.1619
        m. John ROOT c. 1640
        d. 1697
Mel Douglas & Robert Haack, also on this Echo, also descend from this
family.
