KIDD in PA

Harry - Received a copy of your 4-11-92 query from Marilyn
Devries regarding your paternal grandparents John Clarence
KIDD and Grace Buckalew, from Bethal and New Castle PA,
respectively. I run across quite a bit of KIDD info on the
BBS and thought I might have something for you; however, I
am not aware of any info on KIDDs in PA at this point. Have
some info on those in VA and one from IN. Have discovered many
KIDDS in Clearwater and St. Pete FL today which really surprised
me as my KIDDs were Yankees.  My furthest back KIDD so far was
Alexander KIDD whom I believe emigrated from Northern Ireland
to NY c. 1745. Descendants lived in Orange Co. NY and my
ggggdfthr William KIDD emigrated to MI from there c. 1838.
The name John does not occur in any of our KIDDs that I recall.
However, I'll keep my eye pealed for any info about your KIDDs
as I am always interested in anything I find regarding them. If
you have other KIDD info, I'd appreciate hearing about it.
