Page 201; Chapter XXIV, Bethel Township: Kelly Station, established in
    1860, for many years a noted shipping point on the old Allegheny
    Valley, was named after Sheriff Hamilton KELLY, an old
    steamboatman, who was for years station agent and postmaster here.
    His sons were also famous on the Allegheny as boatman.
