Holton Family

    Does anyone out there have a current address for any of
the officers of the Holton Family Association. A gentleman
from Maine sent me a copy of their Spring-Summer, 1983
newsletter this past winter. I tried contacting the
1983 president, Ruth Hall of Arlington, Mass. in March
but she was no longer at the 1983 address.
    The newsletter shows that the New England area and
the state of Massachusetts were most heavily represented
in 1983. This makes sense since the association is made
up of the descendants of William Holton, an early settler
Hartford, Conn. in the 1630s.
    My earliest known Holton ancestor was Daniel Holton
who reportedly removed from Rhode Island to the
Meadville, Pa. area ca. 1797. He disappears off the
Crawford Co., Pa. census after 1820.
