Wish we could have made a connection. The HALL family I am researching is the ancestors/descendants of Samuel Franklin HALL. He was born in England; emigrated to New York in 1835/7, left NY about 1856 for Ottawa Co., MI. where he died ca 1872. Since he and his wife, Elizabeth RUMBOLD had 12 children, and several of these children are `lost', at least to me, I was hoping to connect on one of them. The lost sheep are Elizabeth HALL, married Lucius BEARDSLEY; Thomas F. HALL; Edwin HALL; Walter HALL; Maria HALL, married Aden HAMMER, Louisa HALL, married PICKETT; and Henry HALL who I'm told supposedly was also in Michigan, but have not located/identified him as yet. Jonathan Hall was born, according to his Revolutionary War record in Connecticut in 1756. He m. Abigail Bisbee 16 Mar. 1785 in Middleboro, Mass. He had served in the Revolution from Mass. I have no information about Jonathan's ancestry. His children were Heman. b.1790, Hosea (my ancestor) b. 18 May 1792 in Mass., Hopestill, Abigail, Josiah, Iriene, Betsey, Johathan, Harriet. Hosea m. Martha Hibbard, ca. 1816. I would like to confirm this marriage. Particularly, I would like to know more about Jonathan's ancestry. Any information appreciated.
